12th edition of the Dubai Airshow

Mr. Piero Scarpellini, Director of Pragmata Institute, took part as Advisor of the African Business Aviation Association (AfBAA) in the 12th edition of the Dubai Airshow held from 17th to 21st November 2013. The Dubai Airshow 2013 was an overwhelming success, drawing 60,692 trade attendees from around the world along with 1,046 exhibitors from 60 countries and 1,735 international and regional media. Yet again the event proved to be one where deals are made, with the total order book for the Dubai Airshow breaking all previous records with $206.1 billion worth of orders – the largest in any air show history.


African Union ICT Week

Pragmata Institute took part in the African Union ICT Week held from 2nd to 7th December 2013 in Addis Ababa in its role as International Advisor of the African Union for the development of its relations with the European Institutions and Member States. The ICT Week was an opportunity to further appreciate how Information and Communication and Technologies (ICTs), will contribute to promoting Pan Africanism, to the African Renaissance and to the African Union Vision towards 2063, adopted by the African Union Heads of State and Government during their 21st  African Union Summit held in Addis Ababa last May.

On Friday, 6 July 2013, the Deputy Chairperson of the African Union, H.E. Erastus Mwencha, during his visit to the Republic of San Marino, signed an official agreement with Pragmata Institute in the presence of two Ministers of the Republic of San Marino. Pragmata Institute’s mission is to facilitate relations with public and private international institutions.
